We are excited about having Pastor Jon Moorman, one of our campers for several years, as Speaker/Teacher for both camps in2021. He comes fully aware of why our campers are here and what they need to take home to be ever deeper Christian fathers, sons, and daughters. Jon, as well as being deep in the exploits of marriage, career, and an active father of 6, works full time helping families, shepherding and challenging them to Stand Tall in the midst of life.
Jon has been involved in full time ministry for over 20 years. He served for five years with Life Action Ministries as a Team Director and Youth Director from 2000-2005. In 2005, after he and his wife, Carra, were married, he joined the staff of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Oakland, MD as the Youth Pastor. He transitioned to Family Pastor in 2010 and served there until he and his family moved to Indiana. Jon has been on staff at Eden Worship Center since 2018 and is the Family Pastor there. Carra has served alongside of him throughout most of his ministry experience since having met during their time serving in Life Action Ministries. He and Carra have six children, Liam-14, Elhanna- 13, Aiden-11, Quinn- 9, Aubrielle- 7, and Killian- 3.
